Howard Kahn performing on the grand piano at the Duke of Cornwall Hotel, Plymouth.

Howard Kahn started learning the piano from his mother’s knee when he was 5 or 6 years old. He soon discovered a real passion for playing and received classical lessons for the next twelve years from Betty Harris, a highly respected piano teacher based in Bedford. With her help Howard became an extremely versatile player, comfortable with any style from Bach and Beethoven to Scott Joplin and Dr. John.

Howard Kahn has performed for weddings, private functions, dinners, pubs and clubs all over the UK. If Howard sees a piano he finds it very hard not to have a go on it.

“Many thanks Howard for playing with such character, flair and skill on our special day. We couldn’t have been happier with the selection of ragtime and light classics you performed for our wedding guests and you helped make the whole event very memorable.” Mel and Iain, wed 5th Jan 2013.
